Grade 2 Body Systems

“I can’t believe I get to teach my parents!” Grade 2 celebrated their learning with an informative and interactive exhibition that their parents were invited to attend. The students led them through various stations that gave them the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of how we look after our physical health and wellbeing. Their presentation posters were lifesize 3D models of different systems made from recycled materials.

The students also demonstrated how to exercise and look after their muscular system at the interactive PE station with Mr. Ricardo, and they explained how the system they had researched works and how their systems work with other systems in the body. The students had the opportunity to practise their research skills, learning how to collect, interpret, organise, and present data.
