EC and PYP students are welcome to submit their carved and decorated pumpkins for our Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest. The categories are: scariest, most adorable, most creative, and funniest. Pumpkins can be brought to the PYP yard Thursday morning for registration and display. The tradition is over 20 years old!
\No lessons today; all teaching staff will be participating in professional growth workshops.
VIS will be closed for Autumn Break. However, EC student supervision will be available – information on sign-up will follow. Classes will resume on Tuesday, November 3rd.
To mark this special milestone, PYP students will take part in a series of Learning Walks, exploring the life, work, and personality of this remarkable and inspiring figure.
Grade 10 students will attend Taster Days to explore Cambridge International AS/A level subjects offered at VIS in grades 11&12. Students will take part in Cambridge lessons to get them on their path to choosing the subjects for next year. One-on-one scheduled guidance sessions for students, and an on-line information session about enrollment with Ms. Asta will follow.
EC and Grade 1- 5 parents, please save the date for the Parent Teacher Conferences, where you can connect with teachers to gain insight into your child’s progress so far. Individual schedules will be provided closer to the event. Kindly note that conferences are between teachers and parents only; students will not be taking part.

School holidays at Vilnius International School provide students with time to rest, recharge, and explore new interests. That said, we expect families to respect our school calendar and plan vacations accordingly. VIS has a rather short school year compared to international schools globally, please do not plan to withdraw students early for summer camps. Demonstrate that you take learning seriously by being our partners.
After-school activities at Vilnius International School offer students a chance to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships. From sports and arts to leadership programs and community service, there’s something for everyone.
These activities encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal growth in a fun and supportive environment. Students can discover new passions while gaining valuable experiences beyond the classroom.
