Business Class Guest Speakers

VIS Cambridge International business students took part in some inspiring conversations with guest speakers: Eglė Stankevičiūtė, co-founder of 12 O'Clock Box, a food delivery startup, and Saulius Krygeris, from Vinted, Europe's largest preloved fashion marketplace and Lithuania's first tech unicorn. 

In her presentation while sharing the best practices, Eglė Stankevičiūtė also talked to grade 11 students about establishing a startup and what it takes to manage one. She stressed how important it is to be passionate about your business and be honest with customers. 

 The Global Shipping Programs Lead at Vinted, Saulius Krygeris, explained what makes Vinted so successful and able to compete in various European and North American markets. Both guest speakers highlighted the importance of sustainability as part of the business idea and daily business operations. 

As Eglė Stankevičiūtė noted, "It was a pleasure to talk about building business with future entrepreneurs".
