PYP BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHTS

Save the date for PYP’s back-to-school nights.  These evening sessions are designed to give parents the opportunity to connect with their child’s classroom community and will take place in-person at Rusų g. 3.

All PYP parents should attend.

EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES

VIS will celebrate a language and culture shared by many of our students, teachers, and other staff. Not just for one day, but the entire week.  Będzie fajnie!

UPPER SCHOOL PARENT SESSIONS

Upper school parents are invited to attend a number of sessions taking place both in person and online.

Grade 6 – 10 parents are invited to join Mr. Thibault online from 16:00 to 17:00 for information about the specifics of assessment in the Middle Years Programme at VIS. 

The following 17:00 to 18:00 session will be led by Ms. Dee where parents will be shown how to use Managebac to follow the progress of their child’s academic learning, attendance and other aspects.

UPPER SCHOOL PARENT SESSIONS

Grade 10 parents should join Mr. Roman online at 16:00 for information regarding student Personal Projects.  Personal Project is a required externally assessed project that culminates completion of the MYP curriculum. 

Parents of grades 10-12 students can log onto a 17:00 session by Ms. Neringa and Ms. Asta to learn how VIS supports students in preparation of university applications.

PYP PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

EC and Grade 1- 5 parents*, please save the date for the Parent Teacher Confeneces, where you can connect with teachers to gain insight into your child’s progress so far. Individual schedules will be provided closer to the event.  Kindly note that conferences are between teachers and parents only.; students will not be taking part. 

*classes 1M and 2T will hold their conferences on Saturday, November 22.

UPPER SCHOOL PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

SPANISH CLUB

Students from grades 9 and 10 have the opportunity to practice their Spanish language skills while exploring the history, art, architecture, and culture of Spain. The culmination of learning will be a trip to Barcelon and Madrid in Spring 2026. The cost for pricipation will be approximately €900.  Contact Mr. Dustan for more information. 

VIS School Holidays 2025 - 2026

School holidays at Vilnius International School provide students with time to rest, recharge, and explore new interests. That said, we expect families to respect our school calendar and plan vacations accordingly. VIS has a rather short school year compared to international schools globally, please do not plan to withdraw students early for summer camps. Demonstrate that you take learning seriously by being our partners.
