VIS will welcome poet Vydas Mičiulis to the Penguins at 8:45 and Dolphins at 9:30. Mothers and grandmothers are invited to join and listern to the author read from his book “Tell Me a Poem, Mama.” Fruit and coffee will be served.
Join VIS parent and illustrator, Olga Degtiarova, to the Pandas at 8:45 and Turtles at 9:30. Check your Kakė Makė collection for the illustrator and bring it in for an autograph. Fruit and coffee will be served.
Spectators are welcome to support the middle school Storks at Vilniaus Karaliaus Mindaugo mokykla (Mindaugo g. 9).

Karaliaus Mindaugo mokykla
Students in Grade 5 have started their countdown to the PYP Exhibition, marking the culmination of the PYP Program. Grade 5 parents and family members are invited to join us in celebrating our students’ accomplishments and hard work from 15:00 to 16:00.
After a successful test expedition in April, fourteen grade 9 students will partake in an unsupervised overnight 24 km. hike in the Labanoras Forest. An award ceremony will take place at the end of June.
Changemaker Challenge motivates young people to identify community problems and pitch an idea of how to solve challenges in the world around us. This year eight grade 9 students, together with Ms. Asta, worked on issues related to lack of gymnastics coaches, antibiotic resistance, zero waste initiatives, lack of affordable housing for university students, hybrid attacks, youth participation opportunities, and resilience of students while feeling lost. During the showcase, students will present their projects to experts and guests from the University of Evansville and Ball State University, both from the USA, who will provide feedback in live stream on how to move the ideas forward. Students from grades 8-12 will be invited to attend, and be presented by grade 12 students – former showcase participants.

We are happy to announce that VIS is organizing its first ever Padel Tournament! This event is open to the VIS community, including students from Grade 5 to Grade 12, parents and staff. The tournament will take place at the Mostai outside courts (Savanorių pr. 178B, Vilnius). Whether you are a seasoned player or a complete beginner, we would love to see you there. Students currently in grades 2-5 are invited to our summer camp in June. The fee includes art and sports activities run by Ms. Dayana and Mr. Ricardo. Kids will be split into two groups: grades 2 & 3, and grades 4 & 5. We must have 10 students per group to cover costs. Register at [email protected]
School holidays at Vilnius International School provide students with time to rest, recharge, and explore new interests. That said, we expect families to respect our school calendar and plan vacations accordingly. VIS has a rather short school year compared to international schools globally, please do not plan to withdraw students early for summer camps. Demonstrate that you take learning seriously by being our partners.
After-school activities at Vilnius International School offer students a chance to explore their interests, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships. From sports and arts to leadership programs and community service, there’s something for everyone.
These activities encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal growth in a fun and supportive environment. Students can discover new passions while gaining valuable experiences beyond the classroom.
