Our chess trainer Jonas Sidabras graduated from Moscow Sports Academy and has worked as a chess trainer since 1989. He has trained many young Lithuanian chess champions, like winners of European youth chess championship second and third places in 2001, 2005 and 2007. Since 1997, he has been an international chess judge participating in Lithuanian, European and international competitions. Jonas Sidabras is an organizer of international chess competitions. Since 2003, Jonas has become an organizer of “Chess in primary schools” program. Since 1996, Jonas is an active member of the Lithuanian Chess Federation, now as vice president.
